SSC GD Constable Exam 2024 : Overview
The SSC GD (Staff Selection Commission General Duty) exam is conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), a government organization in India, to recruit candidates for various positions in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and various departments under the Government of India.

SSC GD Constable 2024 Selection Process
The SSC GD Constable 2024 Selection Process consists of the following stages:
1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
The CBT is a 1-hour objective-type test that assesses candidates’ knowledge of General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics, and English/Hindi. The CBT is conducted in two shifts, morning and evening.
2. Physical Standard Test (PST)
Candidates who qualify the CBT are required to undergo a PST, which consists of the following tests:
- Height: 170 cm for males and 157 cm for females
- Chest: 80 cm to 85 cm for males
- Running: 1600 meters for males and 800 meters for females
Candidates must pass all three tests in order to qualify for the next stage of the selection process.
3. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who qualify the PST are required to undergo a PET, which consists of the following tests:
